June 15, a three-day SNEC 17th (2024) International Solar Photovoltaic and Intelligent Energy (Shanghai) Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as the 2024 SNEC) successfully concluded. In this year’s SNEC Top Ten Highlights, HonorSolar won the “Megawatt Emerald Award”, demonstrating its technological innovation strength.

 

HonorSolar has selected a variety of high-efficiency modules to meet the diversified needs of the market, including double-glass series monocrystalline modules (HY-M12/132H-700W/N-type) and single-glass series monocrystalline modules (HY-M10/120H-490W/N-type). Half-cell module technology is an important breakthrough that halves the current in each busbar by cutting the cell in half, thereby reducing internal losses to one-quarter of a full-size cell module and achieving higher yields when the module is partially shaded. Bifacial modules with transparent backsheet technology offer power gains of up to 20% depending on different albedos and PV system designs. n-type modules have an average of 3.9% higher power generation than p-type modules, and have excellent power generation capabilities with power generation gains of about 1.5%-2% at high temperatures.

 

 

In terms of bifacial power generation performance, the bifacial rate is about 10% higher than that of P-type modules, and the power generation gain is between 0.8% and 1.2% under different ground conditions. In addition, under low irradiation conditions, such as early morning or evening, the power generation gain can also reach about 0.2%. The application of these technologies has enabled HonorSolar ‘s half-cell modules to significantly improve power generation performance in a number of key areas.
