On August 27th, Brazil time, 2024 South America Smart Energy Exhibition (THE smater E South America) was grandly opened at the North Exhibition Center in São Paulo, Brazil. HonorSolar brought a series of innovative and upgraded N-type modules and HJT modules to make a stunning appearance at Booth B2.111 in the Blue Hall, to have a deep dialogue with the South American market, and to discuss the cooperation and development of green energy in South America together. New Opportunities for Green Energy Cooperation and Development in South America.

The 2024 South American Intelligent Energy Exhibition consists of four parallel energy exhibitions including INTERSOLAR and related conferences, and the exhibition will be held from August 27th to 29th, focusing on the regeneration, storage, distribution and use of intelligent energy, and it is a place where cutting-edge ideas, technologies and products in the field of intelligent energy are mingled. As the largest solar industry event in Latin America, this year’s INTERSOLAR brings together about 500 of the world’s top solar manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and service providers, covering the latest developments in photovoltaics, PV production and solar thermal technologies.

In this exhibition, HonorSolar booth B2.111 was crowded with people and had a warm atmosphere. The high-efficiency PV modules that were unveiled attracted much attention, covering core products such as N-type modules and HJT modules, which comprehensively demonstrated HonorSolar ‘s outstanding advantages of deep-rooted innovative technology application and product diversification, and became the highlight of the exhibition, attracting the attention of many exhibition visitors and media.

Among them, Topcon and HJT series PV modules, as the flagship products of HonorSolar, integrate a number of breakthrough innovations, with a module power of up to 730W and an efficiency of 23.5%. This series of modules adopts a number of advanced technologies such as selective emitters and back-plane microstructure reflectors, which reduce the balance-of-systems (BOS) cost while minimizing the risk of hot spots during long-term operation of the PV modules, and safeguard the power generation efficiency of the modules during their entire life cycle. The modules not only perform well under standard test conditions (STC), but also show excellent low-light response, low-temperature coefficient, and excellent environmental adaptability in real-world applications. Whether it is a large-scale ground power station, a power station in complex terrain, or a fishery-photovoltaic and agricultural-photovoltaic project, Topcon and HJT series modules can provide customers with highly efficient and stable power generation solutions.

HonorSolar ‘s 182N double-glass PV modules also became the focus of attention at the site. The module adopts a full-coverage back electrode aluminum deletion line design, realizing the technical breakthrough of double-sided power generation. The double-sided module can simultaneously absorb sunlight from the front and back, and convert it into electricity through reflected and scattered light, with a power generation gain of up to 30% compared with traditional single-glass modules. Its unique structural design greatly improves the module’s durability and resistance to wind, sand and corrosion, enabling it to maintain excellent power generation performance in complex and harsh environments such as coasts, deserts, snow, etc., and therefore better adapting to the natural geographic environment of South America, and delivering more stable power output in practical applications. The life of the modules is up to 30 years, with an annual power degradation rate of only 0.5%, providing customers with a more economical and sustainable investment option.

Against the backdrop of deeper and deeper competition in the domestic industry, going out is the only way to find opportunities in danger. Against the background of the deep restructuring of the global industrial chain, Chinese PV enterprises are actively involved in the global market layout, and Brazil, as the largest PV market in Latin America, has become a key node for Chinese PV enterprises to explore the international market. Brazil, as the largest PV market in Latin America, in 2023, 93.1% of the country’s electricity comes from renewable energy, of which solar power generation reached 37.2GW, accounting for 16.5%, has become the second largest source of electricity after hydropower. The Brazilian Solar Photovoltaic Association (ABSOLAR) predicts that distributed solar installations will remain the core of the market in 2024, with a projected new installed capacity of 5.98 GW. Concentrated installations are expected to contribute a further 3.4 GW, bringing the total new installed capacity to 9.38 GW. Brazil, with its abundant light resources and favorable policy environment, is providing global PV companies with enormous Brazil, with its abundant light resources and favorable policy environment, is providing global PV enterprises with great business opportunities and broad market prospects.

Taking the opportunity of participating in INTERSOLAR South America, HonorSolar will actively explore the Brazilian and the whole Latin American market. In the future, HonorSolar will continue to strengthen in-depth dialog with local partners, and is committed to promoting the popularization and application of green energy in Brazil. HonorSolar is looking forward to working with more industry partners to explore the infinite possibilities of technological innovation and market breakthroughs in the tide of global energy transformation. With more efficient and reliable photovoltaic products, HonorSolar will help the world move towards a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
