The First Batch of Equipment for the First Phase of HonorSolar’s “3GW N-module” Project Entered the Field Successfully

On the morning of December 18th, the first batch of equipment for the 3GW PV module project of Honor Solar Technology(Changshu) Co.,LTD. (hereinafter referred to as “HonorSolar”) was grandly held, and the leaders of the company, the management of the company and the employees on the site witnessed this important moment together.

▌Scintillating Journey, Climbing the Peak

From the official start of construction on August 10th to the entry of the first batch of equipments on December 18th, the HonorSolar project team, relying on the spirit of struggle enjoyed by the HonorSolar people, the boldness to face challenges and the ability to overcome difficulties, successfully overcame a number of unfavorable factors and orderly pushed forward the project of this advanced PV module, which is intensive in terms of technology and materials. The successful entry of the first batch of equipment not only boosted the confidence of all the staff, but also injected a strong driving force for the project construction.

▌Equipment in place, Feet on the ground

The first batch of equipment to enter the site covers major equipment such as Otway automatic non-destructive scribing machine and automatic high-speed string welder, which are the core equipment in the production of N-type modules. These advanced equipments will greatly boost HonorSolar to produce high-efficiency, high-power and high-reliability module products. After the project is put into production, it will further enhance the supply capacity of the company’s N-type module products. The project took only 109 days to complete the official groundbreaking to the roofing of the plant, followed by the completion of the first batch of equipment on site within 21 days, taking a new step in the industry.

After the completion and commissioning of HonorSolar, it will be conducive to the formation of a more market competitive PV industry structure, which will be more helpful to promote the development of China’s PV industry and the realization of carbon neutral goals.
